BBA virtual tour

Hello everyone at IPS!

As you know, we have our own building for the first time in the history of our school. It is white all over, some students and teachers like this, but others think it's too white. I really like it, because like on a painter's white canvas, you can make beautiful art on the white walls. In fact, students often make works of art on the walls of the school, and also the stairs, with the Head's permission, of course, and sometimes as part of the work they do in art subjects.

Meet 2nd year BBA!

Hello IPS Class!








My name is María Cecilia Carattoli and I'm the teacher of 2nd year at Bachillerato de Bellas Artes, La Plata.

I have been a teacher at BBA for twenty-five years and I love working here because my students are all so talented and creative!

Our school is very interesting and special. Some teachers were students here and their children studied or are studying here, too. Very often, brothers and sisters of different ages are studying at BBA at the same time. And, sometimes I've called them by their elder brother or sister's name at the beginning of the school year because they were my students before! How many generations of students have passed since I started teaching here! And I have the same enthusiasm now for teaching I had when I started. I'm very happy to do the Project with my students.

I want to say a big thank you to your teacher Carla for inviting us to participate in your Project. We're so happy to share our class projects online together. I'm sure this will be a great opportunity for all of us to go on learning English through English.

There are twenty-five students in our class. We have English on Monday and Wednesday.

Luciana's introduction

Hi, Rosario!

 My name is Luciana,  I'm from Mar del Plata but I live in La Plata, we came here four years ago. I live in a house in the middle of the centre with my parents and my brother, who is older than me.
 I like a lot of national and international bands, one of them, is La Vela Puerca, I Really like their songs.  I go to Bellas Artes school and I'm into Art.
 My school is very particular because it's from the University and you can choose if you can do art or music. We have a lot of subjects about art or music, and we have a ''spring week'', a week where where we do representations invented by us and there are a lot of games, music, etc.

Nina's introduction

My name is Nina. I'm thrirteen years old and have one brother, his name is Pedro. 

 I like listening to music and inviting my friends to my house. In my free time I watch TV or sleep. 

The name of my school is Bellas Artes and I love it. I study Art and all core subjects. I' m in second year. What I like about it is the Spring Week, it is a week when students play games, do recreation and work is done with the older students.

Mateo's introduction

Hello, my name is Mateo, I am twelve years old and my birthday is June 20. 
I have one brother, his name is Pedro and he's three years old. 
 
I like football, I'm a fan of River Plate. 

I also like music, for example, national Rock, electronic, etc. And in my free time I use the computer or I play soccer. 

My school is called Bellas Artes, it is in La Plata, street ten and sixty two. I'm in 2nd year of secondary, I like the atmosphere and the friendship that forms within it, and some of my favorite subjects are Ethics, Biology, etc.

Candela's introduction

Hi, my name is Candela and I am 13 years old. I've got 2 brothers, Jonas and Joshua, I live with them, my mum and my dog.
 I like music, and I play the drums. My favourite free time activities are using the  mobile phone, watching  tv or sharing  time with my friends.
 I study in Bachillerato de Bellas Artes and I'm in the second year. I love my school, it is beautiful and funny. I'm in Visual Arts, but it is not my favourite subject. My favourite subjects are Ethics, Maths and Literature.

Mora's introduction

Hello! My name is Mora and I’m 13 years old. I live with my mum and dad, I don’t have any brothers or sisters but I have a cat.
 I like a lot of things: music, art, films, etc. My favourite bands are: One Direction, The Pretty Reckless, The Kooks, The Police and my favourite singers are Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes. My favourite song at the moment is “Give me Love” by Ed Sheeran. My favourite film is The Breakfast Club and my favourite show is American Horror Story. What about you? What is your favourite song/band/singer/movie/show? 
My school is BBA (Bachillerato de Bellas Artes). My favourite subjects are History of Art and History. I’m in 2nd year of high school.

Manuel's introduction

Hello, my name is Manuel Landa. I am 13 years old. I live in La Plata and my parents are Aurelia Di Berardino and Juan Ignacio Landa Garza. My sister is Dolores Landa. I have two cats.
I swim on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the club Estudiantes.
I like listening to music, drawing and reading books.

Dolores's introduction

Hi! I am Dolores Riccitelli, I am 13 years old.
 
 I go to Bachillerato de Bellas Artes in La Plata Buenos Aires. My favourite subject is Visual Production Workshop. I love drawing!

 My idol is Selena Gomez, I love her songs. 

 I also like Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift.

Ezequiel's introduction

My name is Ezequiel. I'm 13 years old. I have a brother, a sister and two pets, a dog and a cat.
I like playing volleyball and tennis. I play basketball more than any sport. I play it in the school and in my basketball club (UVLP- Unión Vecinal de La Plata).
My school is BBA in La Plata. It has a thin building. There the music students learn about music; and it is a big and new building where we study general subjects. My favourite school subject is Maths, because I like numbers very much. I really enjoy BBA, and I'm proud of being part of this school.

Jerónimo's introduction

Hi! I'm Jerónimo, I am 13 years old, and, as you know, I live in La Plata.
I've got one brother named Cipriano.
I usually draw and listen to music in my free time.
I like The Beatles, El Cuarteto de nos and Seru Giran. Also, I play the piano.
I study in the Bachillerato de Bellas Artes. Bellas Artes has a new building, and I like it so much. It is bigger than the other one. And I like it more.

Hi, there IPS!

I'm Mateo! I'm from La Plata and I go to the second year of BBA (Bachillerato de Bellas Artes). It's an Art School and it's very interesting because we can do many things related with art and music, it's nice.

I like drawing but I can't stand painting, though in the school I have to do it. I'm also into music. I love listening to it and playing the guitar, but I'm not so good at it. I swim and I love football, I'm a fan of San Lorenzo.

My name is María Tiziana, I'm 13 (thirteen) years old, and I have a sister
named Taína.

I like sushi, my favourite activities are: drawing, listening to music and using the computer.

  My old school's name was "San Pío XII"; my school now is named "Bellas Artes". I'm at 2°A and what I like from my school is the artistic part. My favourite subjects are: Mural Production, , Geography, Biology and perhaps Physical Education.

Nuria's introduction

My name's Nuria, I'm thirteen years old and I haven't got brothers or sisters.

I like listening to music and drawing. I really, really love R5, Heffron Drive and Bigh Time Rush.

My favourite activities are reading, drawing and watching anime. My favorite animes are Diabolik Lovers, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, Love Stage, Tokyo Ghoul and Junjou Romantica.

I like hanging out with my friends and going to parties. In my free time I like playing the piano and using my phone.

My school is called Bachillerato de Bellas Artes and I go to second year. What I like about my school are my friends and the stuff that I like is recreation. I do not really like my school because I am many hours inside.

Lola's introduction

My name is Lola and I'm thirteen years old. I haven't got any brothers. I live in La Plata and I was born in this city, too.
I like sports, reading bookss and painting. I like Rock and Pop. In my free time after school I go to hockey and tennis training.
